Prerequisites

• Basic knowledge of marketing principles and operation management main areas:  product design and development, sourcing , manufacturing and logistics.
• Profit and loss structure

 



Development of the course

The lessons start from some concepts of “Teory” and quickly go to examples of implementation in real “business cases” including what has been done in Clementoni over the past years.

To deepen main issues relevant to innovation,and international expansion, and to understand the relevant impact on organization and operations

2. Applying knowledge and  understanding
Ability to conceive , design and implement solutions in different Industry or situation; ability to understand and solve interfunctional problems

Ability to handle complexity

• thematic close examination

o International markets analysis
o geographical focus vs diversification
o competitive advantage: how to get and keep it

• operations and strategy
o strategy and relevant targets for operations and logistics

o Logistics in Clementoni



Development of the examination

Oral Exam.

1. Assessment criteria.
1) Knowledge and understanding of main concepts
2) Abilty to apply and to use of main concepts in “real cases”
 
2. Grading scale
Positive grades: from 18 to 30. Cum laude can be bestowed  to outstanding performance

3. Grading method
The exam. will cover four topics at least with different level of difficulty ; grade will follow accordingly.

Reference material will be handed out as teaching progresses.
